Gogoi said the decision was taken to ensure that the tournament does not lose its value by making entry free. He said that the league's primary objective is not profit generation but the growth and promotion of cricket in Assam.
Addressing the media, Gogoi said VIP lounge tickets are yet to go on sale, with details regarding their availability expected to be announced later.
He further stated that the tournament will follow BCCI norms and guidelines to maintain fair play, with strict measures in place to prevent unlawful activities such as match-fixing and betting.
With the player auction concluded, the organisers are now focusing on completing the remaining preparations ahead of the tournament, which aims to provide an affordable and accessible cricketing experience for fans across the state.
