GUWAHATI: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ranoj Pegu has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Dhemaji after being re-elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the constituency.

In a message shared on social media on Monday, May 4, Pegu thanked residents for their continued trust and support, stating that their “affection, blessings, and unwavering faith” have inspired him to move forward with renewed dedication and a heightened sense of responsibility.
The BJP leader also extended his appreciation to party workers and allies, including members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the ''United People’s Force'', and the Asom Gana Parishad, acknowledging their tireless efforts during the election campaign.
Describing the victory as a collective achievement, Pegu said it belongs to every citizen of Dhemaji and reflects the aspirations of the people. He emphasized his commitment to fulfilling those aspirations by steering the constituency toward sustained development and progress.
“Safeguarding the trust placed in me will remain my foremost duty,” he stated, adding that the focus will remain on building a progressive, peaceful, and prosperous Dhemaji and Assam.
Pegu concluded his message with a call for unity, urging citizens to work together for the betterment of the state.
