GUWAHATI: Cachar Police seized 15,900 bottles of codeine-based cough syrup and 2,600 Tramadol capsules from a godown at Gosaipur in Udharbond.

The seized substances are estimated to be worth around ₹2 crore.
Police have arrested one person in connection with the seizure. The operation was carried out by Cachar Police as part of the ongoing crackdown on the illegal drug trade in Assam.
The case is under investigation, and police are probing the source and intended destination of the seized substances.
