GUWAHATI: Guwahati’s Lalganesh is set to host its fifth Ganesh Utsav from September 14 to 17, with this year’s celebrations centred on the theme of Riddhi-Siddhi, symbolising prosperity, wisdom, success and spiritual fulfilment.

The four-day celebration will feature a 16-foot idol of Lord Ganesha and will be held at Sreenagar, opposite the HP Petrol Pump near Lalganesh.
The theme draws inspiration from Riddhi and Siddhi, traditionally associated with Lord Ganesha. Riddhi represents prosperity and happiness, while Siddhi is associated with knowledge, achievement and fulfilment.
Organisers said the theme seeks to highlight the importance of prosperity and wisdom alongside devotion to Lord Ganesha.
The celebrations are being organised by the Union Boys Group.
