In a statement, the Congress alleged that Raijor Dal had reduced political discourse to a sustained campaign of “falsehoods, baseless allegations and character assassination” against the party and its leadership.

The Congress said repeated breaches of trust and what it described as opportunistic politics could not be accepted or tolerated. It stressed that political alliances must be based on mutual respect, trust and responsibility.

According to the party, Raijor Dal had repeatedly crossed these boundaries by allegedly spreading false claims, attacking its alliance partner and engaging in political theatrics for narrow gains.

The Congress also said the end of the alliance would not weaken its political campaign. The party said it would continue to raise issues affecting the common people and hold the BJP government accountable over what it described as anti-people policies, corruption, injustice and governance failures.

“No injustice will go unchallenged, and no failure will be allowed to go unanswered,” the Congress said.
