GUWAHATI: The National Career Service Centre (NCSC) for SC/ST, Guwahati, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, has invited applications for free and stipendiary skill development training programmes for the 2026-27 academic session.

According to the official notification, admissions have opened for several training courses aimed at enhancing employability and technical skills among SC/ST youth in Assam.
The training programmes will be conducted at the National Career Service Centre for SC/ST located at Gopinath Nagar in Guwahati.
The courses offered include Special Coaching Scheme, ‘O’ Level Software Training, Computer Hardware Maintenance Training, Office Automation and Publishing Assistant, Business Accounting Associate, Cyber Secured Web Development Associate Programme and Foundation of Artificial Intelligence Technology.
Most courses will have a duration of one year, while the Foundation of Artificial Intelligence Technology course will run for two months.
Candidates applying for the programmes must have passed Class 12. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 30 years. Applicants belonging to families with an annual income of up to ₹3 lakh will be eligible.
Selected candidates for most courses will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,000 during the training period, along with free books and stationery.
The last date for submission of applications is May 31, 2026.
Applicants have been asked to submit documents including passport-size photographs, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar card, income certificate, employment exchange card and caste certificate.
