The university student elections were held on Wednesday, September 30.
The materials, used during election campaigning, were seen lying on pedestrian pathways and roadside stretches after polling ended. Bamboo supports and ropes were also left behind at several spots.
The scattered campaign materials have added to roadside waste and could obstruct pedestrian movement and affect traffic in the area. Materials left near drains may also contribute to blockages if not cleared.
While the elections have ended, the responsibility to remove campaign materials and restore public spaces remains.
