GUWAHATI: Guwahati is set to have a Durga Puja pandal this year that will bring the universe and divine form to life through LED technology.

The pandal will follow a cosmic theme, with immersive digital visuals designed to give visitors the experience of stepping into a tu universe. The organisers claim it will be Assam’s first fully immersive LED-engineered pandal interior.
The theme and pandal have been planned with a budget of around ₹31 lakh. The concept has been designed by Biswajit Bhowmik of while Kolkata-based artisans led by Subal Barman will construct the pandal. The idol will be designed by Samitra Paul from Krishnanagar, West Bengal.
Last year, the puja had focused on the theme of women trafficking.
The theme is being presented by the BBC Colony Type-I & Sankar Nagar Durga Puja Committee, Pandu, Guwahati.
