PM Modi Announces Fast-Track Courts for Paper Leak Cases, Vows Strict Action


 

GUWAHATI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, July 23, announced that the government has decided to establish fast-track courts to ensure the speedy trial of paper leak cases and stringent punishment for those involved.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said that nothing is more important than the welfare and future of the country's youth. He said the concerned authorities and officials have been directed to take all necessary steps to implement the decision.

Modi stated that the move is part of the government's ongoing efforts to safeguard the interests of students. He also issued a stern warning, saying that those who attempt to harm the future of the nation's youth "will not be spared."

The remarks come amid ongoing protests organised by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), which have received support from Opposition parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party, Congress, and Shiv Sena (UBT).
