Shillong-based cocktail bar Shad Skye is set to host a month-long series of guest shifts this June featuring three bars ranked among India’s 30 Best Bars 2025, bringing together hospitality teams from Kolkata and New Delhi for collaborative events in the Meghalaya capital.
The series will begin on June 6 with AMPM, currently ranked 13th on India’s 30 Best Bars 2025 list and recognised as one of Kolkata’s fastest-rising hospitality destinations. Known for its transition from daytime café to vibrant cocktail space, the bar has emerged as one of the city’s defining modern hospitality venues.
The second event is scheduled for June 20 and will feature Nutcase Etc., ranked 15th on the list. Located beneath a jazz club in South Kolkata, the bar has built a reputation for its intimate atmosphere, community-driven approach and playful cocktail programme, reflecting a growing trend of personality-led bar experiences in India.
The final guest shift in the series is scheduled for June 27 and will feature Kaméi, ranked 39th on India’s 30 Best Bars 2025. Inspired by East Asian flavours and dining culture, Kaméi has gained attention for its ingredient-forward cocktails, contemporary interiors and refined interpretation of Asian-inspired bar experiences.
Shad Skye, ranked 38th on India’s 30 Best Bars 2025, has steadily built a reputation within India’s growing cocktail scene for incorporating local ingredients and influences from Meghalaya into its beverage programme. The guest shift series reflects the growing visibility of Shillong within the country’s evolving hospitality and cocktail landscape.
The events will take place at Shad Skye inside Shillong Address in Laitumkhrah. The property also houses restaurants Ishana and Nonna Mei. All guest shifts are scheduled to begin from 8 PM onwards.
