GUWAHATI: A high-speed collision between a Superbike and a road cleaning truck on the downtown flyover in Rukminigaon left the bike rider dead on the spot in the early hours of Saturday, July 4th, around 1 am.

According to preliminary reports, the Superbike crashed into the truck at high speed, resulting in the on-the-spot death of the victim. The impact of the collision reportedly caused significant damage to both vehicles specially the sportsbike.
Traffic police personnel rushed to the accident site soon after being alerted and took control of the situation.
Further details regarding the identity of the deceased and the exact cause of the accident are awaited. Police are investigating the incident.
