GUWAHATIl Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Hitendra Nath Goswami is leading Gaurav Gogoi in the Jorhat Assembly constituency by 6704votes after round 4 of counting in the Assam Assembly elections.

Goswami has secured 18871votes so far, while Gaurav Gogoi of the Indian National Congress is trailing with 12167 (-6704) votes, according to official trends.
In the fray, Pranab Priyankush Dutta of the Aam Aadmi Party has polled 187 (-18684) votes, while Hemanta Kumar Pegu of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) has received 113 (-18758)votes. NOTA has accounted for 340 (-18531) votes.
Counting is still underway, and these figures represent early trends that may change in the coming rounds.
