In an official press release issued on Friday, June 12, the school stated that the matter came to its notice on June 11 at around 12:30 PM. Following the information, the school immediately activated its established procedures and referred the issue to the appropriate internal committees for investigation.

According to the statement, the matter has been placed before the school's Child Abuse Monitoring Committee (CAMC), and a preliminary inquiry is currently underway. The school administration has also held meetings with the parents and guardians concerned.

Emphasising its commitment to student welfare, the institution said it treats issues related to student safety, dignity, privacy and the responsible use of technology with utmost seriousness. The school reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards cyber misconduct, bullying, harassment, misuse of digital platforms and any behaviour that could negatively impact the well-being of students or staff.

As an interim measure, the students directly involved in the incident have been placed under suspension pending the completion of the inquiry. The school stated that further action will be taken in accordance with its regulations and applicable laws once the investigation is concluded.

The administration has also urged students and parents to refrain from sharing unverified information, images or content related to the case, warning that such actions could cause additional distress and potentially interfere with the ongoing investigation.
