GUWAHATI: Guwahati’s 75th Durga Puja celebration will bring the timeless story of Mahisasura Mardini to life through an immersive 3D projection mapping experience.

The six-day celebration, scheduled from October 16 to 21, will combine traditional devotion with modern visual technology, with the projection mapping serving as the key attraction and depicting the story of Goddess Durga’s victory over Mahisasura.
The 3D lighting design will be created by an artist from Gurgaon, while the idol will be crafted locally and the pandal designed by artisans from Kolkata, blending modern visual elements with traditional craftsmanship. The estimated budget for the 75th-year celebration is ₹15 lakh.
The celebration will be organised at Sri Sri Dakhineswari Kalibari, located at Guwahati Station Kalibari Railway Colony, Panbazar, Guwahati.
