NFR Cancels Two Trains, Reschedules Eight Amid New Harangajao Restoration Work


 

GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the cancellation of two train services, the rescheduling of eight others, and the regulation of one service as restoration work continues near New Harangajao station following the settlement of tracks on Line-1 and Line-2.

Train operations over the Lumding–Badarpur Hill Section are being maintained through Line-3 with enhanced safety measures in place.

As part of the revised schedule, Train No. 15615 Guwahati–Silchar Express, scheduled to commence its journey on July 30, and Train No. 15616 Silchar–Guwahati Express, scheduled to depart on July 31, have been cancelled.

Rescheduled trains

> Train No. 15650 Narangi–Agartala Express – Will depart at 10:30 PM on July 30. 
> Train No. 15649 Agartala–Narangi Express – Will depart at 11:30 PM on July 30. 
> Train No. 15609 Guwahati–Sairang Express – Will depart at 11:30 PM on July 30. 
> Train No. 15611 Rangiya–Silchar Express – Will depart at 11:30 PM on July 30. 
> Train No. 15610 Sairang–Guwahati Express – Will depart at 9:30 PM on July 30. 
> Train No. 15612 Silchar–Rangiya Express – Will depart at 5:00 AM on July 31. 
> Train No. 14619 Agartala–Firozpur Cantt. Express – Will depart at 11:00 PM on July 30. 
> Train No. 15608 Silchar–Thiruvananthapuram Central Express – Will depart at 4:10 AM on July 31. 

Regulated train

> Train No. 12503 SMVT Bengaluru–Agartala Humsafar Express (journey commenced on July 28) will be regulated en route to facilitate safe operations through the affected section.
