GUWAHATI: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced the cancellation, rescheduling, and regulation of several trains due to ongoing restoration work near New Harangajao station, necessitated by settlement of railway tracks in the area.

Cancelled Trains
Two trains have been fully cancelled:
Train No. 15615 Guwahati–Silchar Express, cancelled on 04.08.2026
Train No. 15616 Silchar–Guwahati Express, cancelled on 05.08.2026
Rescheduled Trains
Seven trains have had their departure times revised, all with journey commencement on 04.08.2026:
Train No. 15650 Narangi–Agartala Express will now depart Narangi at 22:30 hrs.
Train No. 15649 Agartala–Narangi Express will now depart Agartala at 23:30 hrs.
Train No. 15609 Guwahati–Sairang Express will now depart Guwahati at 23:30 hrs.
Train No. 15610 Sairang–Guwahati Express will now depart Sairang at 21:30 hrs.
Train No. 15611 Rangiya–Silchar Express will now depart Rangiya at 23:30 hrs.
Train No. 15612 Silchar–Rangiya Express will now depart Silchar at 05:00 hrs. on 05.08.2026.
Train No. 15628 Silchar–Coimbatore Jn. Express will now depart Silchar at 04:10 hrs. on 05.08.2026.
Regulated Train
Train No. 15625 Deoghar–Agartala Express, scheduled for 03.08.2026, will be regulated en route suitably.
