GUWAHATI: Guwahati’s New Colony area in Pandu is set to witness a unique Durga Puja experience this year, with a 3D show featuring special effects inspired by cinematic presentations.

The puja committee, which is celebrating its 74th year, has chosen the 3D show as its central theme and claims to be among the first in the city to introduce such a concept with movie-style special effects as part of the Puja celebrations.
The pandal and 3D presentation are being prepared by artist from Siliguri. The committee has allocated a budget of around Rs 32 lakh for this year’s celebrations.
The celebrations are being organised by the Azad Hind Club Durga Puja Committee.
