Meghalaya Tourism Issues Helpline for Tourists in Shillong Amid Tension


 

GUWAHATI: The Meghalaya Tourism Department has issued a public notice for tourists and visitors amid the ongoing law and order situation in Shillong, urging those requiring assistance to contact the department’s toll-free helpline.

In the advisory, the department said it is keeping a close watch on developments across Shillong and monitoring issues that may affect visitors and tourists.

The Tourism Department has provided 1800-599-2026 as its toll-free helpline for visitors seeking assistance.
