GUWAHATI: Basistha Police have arrested a man wanted in multiple snatching cases across the city and recovered a stolen two-wheeler during an operation linked to a recent snatching incident reported from Beharbari.

The accused, identified as Abdul Aziz Sharkar alias Ajay Shankar (48), a resident of Bilasipara in Dhubri district, was apprehended following an investigation into the case.
Police recovered a stolen two-wheeler that had been reported missing from Srimantapur on May 9. A master key and a mobile phone were also seized during the operation.
According to police, the accused is wanted in multiple snatching cases registered in Guwahati.
Legal proceedings have been initiated, and further investigation is underway.
