GUWAHATI: The “Shahi Ganesh Mahal” theme is set to add a royal touch to this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Shiv Mandir Loco Colony on Pandu Port Road in Guwahati.

With a total budget of around ₹2.2 lakh, the organisers are preparing an elaborate pandal designed to attract devotees and visitors during the festivities.
The Ganesh idol is being crafted by an artisan from Kolkata, while the pandal is being designed and constructed by local artisans, highlighting the creativity and craftsmanship of the community.
The celebrations are being organised by the Akota Sangha Youth Group, Pandu.
The grand setup is expected to create a vibrant festive atmosphere and offer devotees a memorable experience during the celebrations.
