GUWAHATI: Guwahati will witness the theme "Xopunor Axom – Bappar Agomon" during this year's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Bhaskarnagar, Aadi Path Opposite Bhaskarnagar Field from September 14. The theme has been conceptualised to showcase the rich culture, traditions and heritage of Assam while celebrating the arrival of Lord Ganesha.

The pandal and idol will reflect elements of Assamese art and identity, aiming to blend the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi with the essence of Assam. The idol is being crafted by a local artisan from Guwahati, supporting local craftsmanship.
The theme is being presented by Amra Shobai Songho, which is organising its first-ever Ganesh Chaturthi celebration this year.
