The puja committee has allocated an estimated budget of ₹6–7 lakh for the celebrations. The main artistic work will involve a mix of local artisans and craftsmen from Kolkata, while the lighting arrangements will be undertaken by local artists from Pandu.
The celebrations will also feature Sai bhajan and kirtan, cultural programmes, a DJ night and various social activities, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The theme marks a departure from last year’s chess board-inspired concept, with the organisers opting for a larger spiritual installation this year.
The celebrations are being organised by Tarun Sangha Club, Pandu.
