Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma passed the order in a batch of seven cases against Yadav, stating that the actor was given multiple opportunities to honour his commitments and clear the pending dues but failed to do so.
The Court ordered Yadav to pay ₹1.05 crore in each of the seven cases, while his wife Radha Rajpal Yadav was directed to pay a fine of over ₹5 lakh in each case. However, the jail sentences will run concurrently.
The court noted that despite repeated assurances, settlement attempts, and mediation proceedings, Yadav did not fulfil the payment commitments made before the court.
Earlier, in May 2024, a sessions court had sentenced Yadav to six months’ imprisonment in the cheque bounce case. The Delhi High Court later suspended the sentence after his counsel assured that the matter would be settled.
In February 2026, the High Court had directed Yadav to surrender after he failed to comply with earlier orders. He later surrendered and was granted interim relief after depositing ₹1.5 crore with the complainant.
The High Court has now granted him two months to challenge the order before a higher court.
