GUWAHATI: The Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police intercepted a vehicle at Amingaon and seized 20.432 kg of opium concealed inside its spare wheel.

The opium has an estimated street value of ₹3 crore.
Chief Minister's Office, Assam, announced the seizure in a post on X on Wednesday night, October 28, describing it as a major operation.
The driver of the vehicle has been apprehended.
Necessary legal action is underway.
