The move is part of the civic body's campaign to keep the city clean and improve its overall appearance.

As part of the public awareness campaign, the civic body urged residents not to damage or deface public spaces, stating that such places belong to everyone and should be preserved collectively.

The GMC said maintaining public spaces is a shared responsibility of both the government and citizens, adding that responsible civic behaviour is essential for a clean and well-managed city.
