GUWAHATI: A ₹50,000-crore infrastructure investment has been approved under the Viksit Assam: Infra Vision initiative.

In another decision, an integrated 30 MW solar power and 25 MW (100 MWh) Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project has been approved in Goalpara district.
The solar and battery storage project will be developed at Rakhyasini Jungle Block under Matia Revenue Circle in Goalpara district.
The decisions were taken at the State Cabinet meeting held on Sunday, August 30.
