GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will announce the Class 12 (Higher Secondary) results on April 28, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Thursday, April 23.

The results will be declared at 10:30 AM, following an official press release scheduled at 7:30 AM.
Students will be able to access their results through the official websites, including ahsec.assam.gov.in and resultsassam.nic.in, as well as via the DigiLocker platform.
Sharing the update on X, the Chief Minister said, “Higher Secondary results will be declared on 28th April. My best wishes to all students appearing for the exam.”
This year, a total of 3,30,744 students appeared for the Assam Higher Secondary Final Examination 2026, which was conducted between February 11 and March 16 across 821 examination centres in the state.
Meanwhile, the Assam Board Class 10 results were declared on April 10, with boys outperforming girls. The pass percentage among boys stood at 67.78%, compared to 63.96% for girls. Jyotirmay Das of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Patacharkuchi, secured the top position by scoring 591 out of 600 marks.
Among districts, Dima Hasao recorded the highest pass percentage at 88.23%, followed by Sivasagar at 84.08% and Dibrugarh at 78.46%.
