According to a notification issued by the board, such students will be eligible to appear in future examinations only after enrolling in regular school classes.
Students may seek re-admission in the same school from which they appeared for the examination. If the school is unable to accommodate them, admission may be taken in another school within the same examination centre.
The board said there will be no change in registration numbers, and students will continue to appear in subsequent examinations using the same details.
Those opting for re-admission will be allowed to change elective subjects, if required, but only before the half-yearly examination. No changes will be permitted thereafter.
Schools have been instructed to assess practical work during the study period and submit internal and practical marks to the board.
Attendance in the Class X half-yearly examination has been made compulsory. Students who fail to appear will not be eligible for subsequent examinations.
Heads of institutions have been directed to monitor attendance, track academic progress, and include re-admitted students in remedial classes where necessary.
The board has set August 14, as the deadline for completing the re-admission process.
