The accused, identified as Rajkumar, is currently absconding, and special police teams have been formed to trace and arrest him.
According to police officials, Rajkumar first allegedly attacked his wife, Parvathi Saritha, 30, and their two sons, aged four and one, at their residence in Shabad on Friday night.
Police officials said Rajkumar later went to the house of the 17-year-old girl who had filed a complaint against him under the POCSO Act on May 16. He allegedly took the teenager in a car to a deserted location, where he allegedly killed her.
He later allegedly killed the girl's mother, 45, and her maternal grandmother, 65, at their residence. The girl's 20-year-old sister, who is a person with disabilities, was present in the house during the incident but was not harmed.
Police officials said Rajkumar allegedly called his father after the killings and informed him about the incident. He also reportedly told his father that he would die by suicide before switching off his phone. Police officials said the claim has not been confirmed.
Rajkumar had been arrested in May after the minor girl accused him of stalking and sexually harassing her. Police officials said he was allegedly following the girl from her coaching institute to her home and pressuring her to accept his proposal.
He later secured anticipatory bail from a court. Police officials said Rajkumar was granted bail on a personal bond of ₹20,000, around a week before the alleged killings.
Relatives who reached the residence after the incident said the two children appeared to have been killed in their sleep, while signs of a violent struggle were visible in the room where Parvathi's body was found.
Family members said there were no major disputes before the incident and that Parvathi had spoken normally with relatives the previous evening.
Forensic teams have examined the crime scenes, and investigators are reconstructing the sequence of events while probing the exact motive behind the killings. The search for Rajkumar is ongoing.
